Carolyn
J. Williams, CPC has been in the search and staffing profession
over 20 years. In addition to her recruiting and the leadership
responsibilities of Parke Williams Ltd., she has contributed to
professional organizations and the community.
On
a national level she, served as a District VII, (Indiana and Illinois)
and District XI, (California, Alaska, Hawaii) Director to the
National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) Board
of Directors. She was the 1993 and 1994 NAPS
Educational Chair and Retained Search Committee Chair
for three years and served on the following committees:

NAPS:
She was a speaker in various states and also was a featured speaker
at the 1987, ’88, ’89, ’90, ’91, ’92,
and ’94 NAPS Annual Conferences, and a panelist on Retained
Search for the 1991 International Confederation of Personnel Services
Association (IPSA).
In
Indiana: She is a past State President of the Indiana
Association of Personnel Services (IAPS) and past First
Vice President, Vice President, Conference Chair, Newsletter Editor
(three years), Membership Chair, Governmental Affairs, Finance
and Public Relations (committee member).
Carolyn
also served as 1989 and 1990 State First Vice President of the
California Association of Personnel Consultants (CAPS)
and was CA State President (2 terms) of CAPS Executive
Search Division, and newsletter Editor for four years.
She
was the First Vice President of the American Search and
Placement Association (APSA). In 1987 her firm was awarded
the Golden Nike Award for community service and contribution
to the advancement of women in business by the National
Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Organization.
In
1983, she was presented the “Outstanding Citizen
Award” by the city of Yuba City, CA, and the
Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The National Business
and Professional Women named her “ Woman
of Achievement” for Southern California. She
received a “Young Career Woman of the Year Award”
in Indiana.
